GFFFTA’s Purpose is to promote art as a dynamic, accessible and integral part of the Great Falls community in Northern Virginia.

Our Goals are to provide opportunities for art enthusiasts to experience and celebrate the many ways art enriches our lives and our community; and to provide opportunities for professional and emerging local artists to learn, teach, create, collaborate and display their work.

Our Presence in the Community is visible through three primary programs:

•    The Great Falls School of Art offers classes, workshops and special programs for children, teens and adults on an individual and semester basis
•    The Artists’ Atelier provides shared studio space for professional and emerging artists to teach, create, collaborate and display their work
•    The GFFFTA Gallery exhibits and hosts special events to showcase the work of local and regional artists, and Great Falls School of Art students
